Liz Goodman loves a good story. Growing up she focused on music — including clarinet, violin, and piano — and literature. After she graduated college from UNC Chapel Hill with a double major in Biology and German Literature, Liz took continuing education classes in various fine arts, including creative writing, drawing, and photography. She first focused on adventure and creative narrative photography — telling stories through pictures and words of her various travels, backpacking trips, and adventures in the wild.
Over the last ten years, she been deeply embedded in local communities of trail and ultramarathon runners (including race distances up to 100 miles), rock climbers, and artists.
Liz believes that every adventure has a story — whether it’s a weekend 5K race report, or an epic outdoor adventure, or celebrating a new addition to the family — and she aims to capture that story with joy and compassion.
