Much Mason, Much Love - Chapel Hill Wedding Photography

Two best friends walk into a chapel...

And the rest is history.

Travis and Kristen had a very private morning wedding ceremony at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill. It was just family in attendance with a couple friends-who-are-like-family, and when I arrived the church volunteer who was organizing the ceremony exclaimed, "Oh! I'm so glad you're here! This is such a simple wedding - the simplest I've seen in years!" I smiled knowing that Travis and Kristen had a bigger shindig planned later that day at the Carolina Inn and that this morning ceremony was all about simplicity and intimacy.

Their wedding hashtag was #SoMuchMason but I personally think they could have claimed #SoMuchLove as there was so much of their love at the wedding. From the little kids giggling throughout the ceremony to the advice and support from the family to the way Travis and Kristen looked at each other, and even to the giant crucifix that Kristen laughingly told me ahead of the ceremony had to make an appearance for her mom's enjoyment. For two people who are so in love and whose love and friendship shines bright on everyone around them, simple and intimate is beautiful, and I was thrilled to document their special moment.

Congratulations, Travis and Kristen! You two were absolutely radiant on your wedding day, and we wish you that much joy and more in the years to come!
