It always warms my heart when furry family members are included in photos, and these two beauties are such a big part of Lauren and Michael’s life that of course we had to include them! I love hanging out with these cool people too (even if it means going to that campus that sports dark blue) and you can never go wrong when your session ends with a fast-paced game of fetch with a black lab who’s more than a little obsessed with his ball. 😂

Usually that gets a laugh out of teenagers as they groan and roll their eyes at being so cozy with their sibling, but these two just looked up at me and said, “But we do like each other! We’re best friends!” Y’all, my little Grinch heart just melted when they said that! "What? No! That would be totally awesome!"
And with a little planning later there were two little dogs running around my backyard with a holiday light backdrop and one very jealous Ryder peeking out at us through the windows (it was enough work wrangling two puppers, so my dog had to suffer the indignity of us closing the doggy door on the extremely rare occasion - oh how cruel!) I loved hanging out with Paige and her rescue puppers!

I'm pretty excited to wrap up the holidays and to have several days of downtime for planning for the new year. Of course, wrapping up the holidays means going through recent photos from October and November mini sessions - like this super fun session with my good friends Britt and Cliff and their foxy little furbaby Bailey! Enjoy, and happy holidays!
